Unlike fixed-pipeline models, FLUX.2 Flex exposes key generation parameters — including inference steps and guidance scale — so you can precisely trade off quality, prompt adherence, and speed for every single generation. It combines state-of-the-art image generation and editing in a single architecture, powered by the Mistral-3 24B vision-language model coupled with a rectified flow transformer.

Adjustable Inference Steps

Control the number of generation steps from as few as 6 for rapid drafts to 50+ for maximum detail. More steps yield sharper textures and more accurate typography.

Guidance Scale Control
