Write the name exactly as it should appear, in quotes. Short names render more reliably than long phrases or full taglines.
Choose a background
Use opaque for presentations and print mockups. Switch to transparent when the logo needs to sit on photos, dark UI or colored pages.
Keep it simple
Logos with one symbol and two or three colors stay legible on favicons, business cards and signs. Ask for flat design and avoid fine details.
Plan for vector and trademark checks
Results are PNG or JPEG files. For print or trademark filing, have a designer vectorize the final logo, and check trademark availability yourself first.
