What AI Sketch to Image can do

Upload a drawing and get a finished image that follows your lines.

Realistic Rendering

The default Realistic style turns a sketch into a fully colored, detailed image that looks like a photo or polished render. The composition you drew stays in place.

3D Render Style

Choose 3D Render to give your drawing solid volume, lighting and materials, like a product mockup or an animated-film frame. It suits objects, characters and simple buildings.

Anime Style

The Anime option inks and colors your sketch as a clean anime illustration. It is handy for turning rough pencil figures into finished character concepts.

Custom Result

Pick Custom and describe the final image yourself, such as a watercolor of a cottage at dusk. The model uses your sketch for layout and your words for everything else.

Paper or Digital Sketches

Snap a phone photo of a notebook page or export a drawing from a tablet app. Doodles, line art and detailed drafts are all accepted.

2 Credits per Conversion

Each conversion costs 2 credits, shown before you generate. If a generation fails, the credits are refunded to your balance automatically.

Ways people use sketch to image

From napkin ideas to finished visuals.

Product concept visuals

Turn a quick product sketch into a realistic or 3D rendered visual to share an idea with a team, client or manufacturer before any CAD work.

Character design

Develop rough character drawings into colored anime or realistic versions to test outfits, colors and personalities early in a project.

Room and building ideas

Sketch a room layout or building facade by hand, then render it realistically to see how materials and light might look.

Kids' drawings brought to life

Photograph a child's drawing of a monster, house or pet and turn it into a realistic or 3D version they will recognize as their own.

How to turn a sketch into an image

Three steps from lines to a finished picture.

1

Upload Your Sketch

Upload a photo or scan of your drawing as JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF or HEIC, up to 10 MB. Dark lines on white paper work best.

2

Pick an Output Style

Leave Realistic selected, or choose 3D Render, Anime or Custom. With Custom, write a short description of what the finished image should show.

3

Generate and Download

Generate for 2 credits and download the result. It is saved in My Creations, so you can try other styles on the same sketch.

Tips for better sketch conversions

The clearer the drawing, the more predictable the result.

  • Use clean, dark lines

Go over pencil lines with a pen or marker before photographing. Clear contours tell the model exactly where shapes begin and end.

  • Photograph flat and in good light

Shoot the page straight on, without shadows from your hand or phone, and crop away the desk and any other drawings on the page.

  • Label unclear shapes in Custom

If a shape could be read two ways, say what it is in a Custom description, for example the round object on the table is a glass vase.

  • Fix proportions first

The output follows your composition, including its mistakes. Correct major perspective or proportion problems in the sketch if you want a believable realistic image.

Answers about turning sketches into images

Upload a photo or scan of your sketch, keep the default Realistic style and click generate. The drawing is colored and detailed while keeping the composition you drew.

Every conversion costs 2 credits, whichever style you pick. You see the cost before generating, and if the generation fails or the result does not pass safety review, the credits are refunded automatically.

Doodles, line art, concept drafts and children's drawings all work, as JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF or HEIC files up to 10 MB. A phone photo of paper is fine if the lines are clear.

Realistic is best for photo-like results, 3D Render for objects with solid volume, and Anime for illustrated characters. Choose Custom when you want a specific look, like watercolor, and describe it in words.

No. Stick figures and rough shapes can be converted, though the model follows what you draw, so clearer shapes lead to more predictable images. A Custom description helps when the sketch is very rough.

It keeps your composition, poses and main shapes but invents textures, colors and details, so small elements may be interpreted differently. Generating again or adding a Custom description can bring it closer.

Yes. You own what you create and may use it commercially under the Terms of Service. Upload only sketches you made yourself or have permission to use, especially those based on existing characters.
