Upload an image and select a style to transform
Apply one of nine style options to an uploaded image while keeping what is in it.
Choose Cartoon, Anime, Pencil Sketch, Oil Painting, Watercolor, Pixel Art, Comic Book, 3D Render or Custom. It is one place to try many looks on the same photo.
Style transfer changes the rendering, not the content. People, objects, framing and perspective from your upload stay in place while lines, colors and textures change.
Pick Custom to describe a style the list does not cover, such as a linocut print or a neon synthwave illustration. Your words become the style instruction.
Oil Painting, Watercolor and Pencil Sketch give photos a traditional art finish, from thick brushstrokes to soft washes and graphite shading. They suit portraits, gifts and wall prints.
Cartoon, Anime, Comic Book, 3D Render and Pixel Art cover illustrated looks, from halftone comic panels and animated-film renders to retro 8-bit graphics. They suit avatars and social posts.
Every style costs 2 credits, shown before you generate. Credits are refunded to your balance automatically if a generation fails for any reason.
Reasons to restyle a photo instead of starting over.
Run one photo through several styles to decide whether a poster, book cover or album art should feel painted, inked or animated.
Apply the same style to a set of photos so a feed, carousel or newsletter shares one unified illustrated look.
Use one Custom instruction to restyle product or team photos in the same illustration style for a website, pitch deck or campaign.
Show students how the same scene changes as a watercolor, a pencil sketch or a comic, a practical way to discuss technique.
Three steps to a restyled image.
Add the photo or picture you want to restyle as a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF or HEIC file, up to 10 MB.
Select one of the eight presets, or choose Custom and write a short description of the style you want applied to your image.
Generate for 2 credits and download the styled image. It is also saved in My Creations, which makes comparing styles easy.
How to pick and describe a style that works.
Strong Custom instructions name a medium and its traits, like ukiyo-e woodblock print with flat colors and bold outlines, rather than only a mood like dreamy.
Instead of naming a famous painter, describe the brushwork, palette and texture you like. It gives the model concrete direction and keeps the look your own.
Pixel Art and Cartoon simplify detail, so they suit bold subjects. Oil Painting and Pencil Sketch hold up better on detailed portraits and architecture.
Blur and darkness carry over into the new style. Restore faded faces with the Photo Enhancer or enlarge small images with the Image Upscaler first.
