What the Poster Generator can do

Turn a description and your event details into a ready-to-share poster design.

Readable headline text

Create Poster renders bold, readable typography and spells the words you give it. Put the headline, date and venue in quotes so they appear as written.

Portrait 2:3 by default

Posters come out in a 2:3 portrait ratio, the familiar shape for wall posters and event flyers, with room for an image above and details below.

Start from a reference

The From Template tab takes an uploaded base or reference image and builds the poster around it, such as a band photo or product shot.

Four models to compare

Nano Banana 2 is the default and, like GPT Image 2, costs 5 credits. FLUX.2 Pro costs 3 credits if you want another look.

Any event or promotion

Describe a concert, a bake sale, a product launch or a film night. Your prompt sets the theme, color mood and layout style, from minimalist to retro.

Saved in My Creations

Each poster is private by default and kept in My Creations. Download it whenever you are ready to send it to a printer or post it online.

Posters people make with it

From local gigs to shop windows.

Promote a local event

Make a poster for a gig, workshop or community fair with the date, time and venue spelled out, ready to print or share online.

Announce a sale or launch

Create a shop window or social poster for a seasonal sale or new product, using your own product photo in From Template.

Mock up a film poster

Test title treatments and moods for a short film, a school play or a self-published novel before hiring a designer.

Decorate a room or classroom

Generate a quote poster or a themed classroom display, then print it at home or through a local print shop.

How to make a poster

From idea to download in three steps.

1

Pick a tab

Choose Create Poster to start from text, or From Template to upload a reference image you want the design built on.

2

Describe the poster

Write the theme, style and colors, and put the exact text in quotes, for example 'Summer Jazz Night', 'June 14', 'Riverside Hall'.

3

Generate and proofread

Click Generate Poster, read every word carefully, then download. If anything is misspelled, adjust the prompt or switch models and retry.

Tips for better posters

How to get clean text and a print-ready file.

  • Quote every word you need

Text inside quotes is treated as exact copy. Keep the headline short and list the date and venue separately so each line stays clear.

  • Keep text to a few lines

A headline plus two or three short details comes out cleaner than a paragraph. Put fine print on your website or a separate handout.

  • Proofread before you print

AI can drop or swap a letter. Zoom in on the download and check names, dates and prices before sending it to a printer.

  • Upscale for large prints

The output is a raster image. For large prints, run it through the Image Upscaler first so edges and lettering stay crisp.

Nano Banana 2 is the default and a good start for posters with text. GPT Image 2 is another 5-credit option, and FLUX.2 Pro costs 3 credits.

Not always. Quoting the text helps, but AI image models can still make spelling mistakes, especially with long lines of text. Always proofread the poster before printing or publishing it.

The poster is a flat raster image, not a layered file. To change the wording, adjust the prompt and generate again, or retouch the downloaded file in any image editor.
