Match the style to the subject
Oil Painting flatters warm portraits and dramatic light, Watercolor suits soft outdoor scenes, and Pencil Sketch shines on faces and buildings with strong shapes.
Be specific in Custom mode
Name the medium, surface and mood, for example ink and wash on rough paper in muted earth tones. Vague words like nice or artistic give little to follow.
Start from a good photo
Blurry or very dark photos produce muddy paintings. Brighten underexposed shots first, and restore old, damaged faces with the Photo Enhancer before converting.
Upscale before framing
If you plan to print large, enlarge the finished artwork 2x or 4x with the Image Upscaler so brushstrokes stay crisp on paper or canvas.
